Lightning kills newly weds in Himachal

Shimla, May 6 (IANS) A young couple were killed when lightning struck them at a remote mountainous village in Himachal Pradesh, police said Tuesday.

The two, identified as Jagdish and Kubja, were returning from a fair near Kelvi village in Chopal, some 140 km from here, when the incident took place Monday.

The two were in their early 20s and were married barely a week ago. They were cremated together.
